Italian Winter Fest 2017

2017 Italian Winterfest

Local Memphis restaurants and beverage distributors will join together for the 7th Annual Italian Winterfest benefitting the Catholic Education Scholarship Fund and Ave Maria Home on Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 5 -9 p.m. at The Racquet Club. Italian Winterfest was the vision of the late Angelo Lucchesi, Tony Barrasso, and the late Sam Bomarito.  More than 14 restaurants and 1,000 guests are expected this year. The evening includes fine cuisine from Italian and local restaurants, wine, dancing to traditional Italian music by Tony Barrasso and Mike Spano, and a Live Auction hosted by WMC-TV News Anchor, Joe Birch. The 2017 Honored Guest of Winterfest  award will be presented to  Mayor Jim Strickland and the Outstanding Service Award will be given to Bishop Emeritus J. Terry Steib, S.V.D., Catholic Diocese of Memphis.

 Early bird tickets are $45/person or $450/table of ten until December 31, 2016.  After December 31, tickets will be $50/person or $500/table of ten. Tickets are available online at www.avemariahome.org;  by calling Lisa Bell, Ave Maria Home, at (901) 405-3791; or by calling Janet Donato,  Catholic Schools Office, at  (901) 373-1221.  Proceeds from the Italian Winterfest will provide scholarships for students in the Catholic schools through the Catholic Education Scholarship Fund and assistance for Ave Maria residents who are exhausting their financial resources.
